THE AMENDMENTS FOCUS ON TWO SETS OF CHANGES:    (1) PARKING. THE PARKING STANDARDS FOR ALL CG-ZONED PROPERTIES WOULD BE SET AT A UNIFORM STANDARD (1 SPACE PER 400 SQUARE FEET OF LEASABLE BUILDING SPACE), AND POTENTIALLY FURTHER REDUCE THE PARKING STANDARD TO 1/600 SQUARE FOOT FOR PROPERTIES THAT ONLY HAVE FRONTAGE ADJOINING OTHER CG ZONES. THE AMENDMENTS WOULD ALSO PROVIDE FOR DEVELOPMENT-SPECIFIC PARKING STUDIES.(2) USES. THE AMENDMENTS WOULD REMOVE THE REQUIREMENT FOR TWO FLOORS OF COMMERCIAL SPACE WITHIN ALL CG DEVELOPMENTS. Edmonds Marsh Volunteer Planting Event

EarthCorps and Friends of Edmonds Marsh, with support from the City of Edmonds, are calling the community to help improve Edmonds Marsh habitat.  Edmonds Marsh is a unique asset to the City of Edmonds as it provides habitat for local and migrant birds and functions as a buffer that filters polluted runoff before it drains into Puget Sound.
