Swift Bus Rapid Transit

The construction of the Swift Bus Rapid Transit platforms along Hwy. 99 started on
December 3, 2008. The work is starting in the City of Everett and scheduled to begin in Edmonds in May ’09 (according to the preliminary schedule). Platforms in Edmonds will be built at the following locations:
-       Hwy. 99 @ 216th St. SW (southbound)
-       Hwy. 99 @ 238th St. SW (northbound)
-       Hwy. 99 @ 238th St. SW (southbound)
SWIFT buses are scheduled to start service in Fall ’09.
